Shopify order not appearing: why is a paid order missing from admin?

A paid order may appear missing because the payment was authorized but not captured, the order creation flow stalled, or the admin view is lagging behind the checkout event. App logic or fraud review can also make the order path look inconsistent.

Review the order details and payment timeline together so you can see whether the checkout produced a valid order. If the checkout, order page, and payment state still conflict, contact Shopify Support with the order number or checkout token and the exact inconsistency.
