Why was my TikTok Shop product listing rejected, removed, or blocked?

A rejected or removed TikTok Shop listing usually means the listing data, product type, or product claims did not meet TikTok Shop rules. The first thing to establish is whether the issue is listing-quality only or whether the product itself is restricted or prohibited.

TikTok commonly rejects listings for incomplete attributes, misleading images or claims, category mismatches, duplicate or low-quality content, pricing presentation issues, or policy-sensitive products. In more serious cases, a listing problem can also trigger an enforcement action on the shop.

Compare the exact rejection reason with the Product Listing Policy and then check whether the product also falls under prohibited or restricted product rules. Update the listing only after the core issue is clear, and if the block remains after correction, contact support with the product ID, category, and rejection wording.

Do not keep resubmitting the same listing with cosmetic changes if the underlying product category may be restricted or prohibited. Fixing the wrong field will not solve the real policy problem.
