For trading cards in the specified category, condition grading information must be provided through the ConditionDescriptors container. Graded cards require the professional grader that graded the card and the actual grade given to the card. The grader and the grade are required to be specified through separate ConditionDescriptor containers. Numeric IDs are used, and these IDs represent Grader, Grade, and their values. Ungraded cards just require more information on the card condition, and this condition is also specified through a ConditionDescriptor container, using numeric IDs for Card Condition and its value. The getItemConditionPolicies method of the Metadata API can be used to retrieve all condition descriptor numeric IDs for a category.
