This error occurs when the value specified in an ItemSpecifics.NameValueList.Value field for an item specific value or in a Variation.VariationSpecifics.NameValueList.Name field for a variation specific value exceeded the maximum character threshold. The GeteBayDetails call can be used to retrieve the maximum character threshold for an eBay marketplace. Use ItemSpecificDetails as the value in the DetailName request field, and look for the ItemSpecificDetails.MaxCharactersPerValue field in the response.
